Price rises slowing down but no sign of a fall
According to distributors and traders after quarterly and monthly spot market increases of more than €100 t at a tune, the mills are pulling back to rises of around €20/t for hot and cold rolled coil by September.
Hot rolled coil in German jumped from €710 t for orders in June to €770/t in July but the base price is expected to move up only by about €20/t by Q4. say distributors:
Cold rolled coil, €770/t for June orders and €820/t by July is expected to make the same gain.
