The Czech Republic Enters the EU

With the entry into the European Union (EU) on May 1st. 2004, a new obligation arose for the Czech Republic in that it must, for financial transactions with countries belonging within the European Economic Area, list its banking account in the form of IBAN (International Bank Account Number) and its SWIFT code (BIC).
